Ready to trade in your old cell phone for the new ones? Before you do, take a look at this checklist to make sure you've deleted all important data from your cell phone. Don't leave anything behind for your privacy's sake.
Back up your cell phone. Including contacts, photos, make sure your apps are recorded in your store or have a list of them somewhere to know what to re-download, music, documents, etc.
After you back up everything, we recommend factory resetting your phone after your new one is active, or while you are at a store doing a trade in process.
If you don't wish to do that, we at least suggest you to remove photos, remove all of your accounts off the phone, including email, delete all your contacts, texts, call history, and apps, and remove sync from any clouds you are connected too.
Another important tip! If your phone is low on batter before you do a factory reset, make sure it's plugged in.
Hopefully these tips are helpful, and as always, if you need professional help, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'd be glad to lend a hand!
